- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3.5 cups milk any kind
- 8 tablespoons butter melted, but cooled
- 2 eggs
- 6 ounces shredded cheddar
- 6 ounces diced ham
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl (or large measuring cup), mix the eggs, milk, and melted butter until combined. It’s okay if some butter chunks remain.
Mix Wet and Dry: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until well
Add Cheese and Ham: Gently fold in the shredded cheddar and chopped ham until evenly distributed.
Cook Waffles: Preheat your waffle maker according to its instructions. Cook the batter as directed by your waffle maker.
Keep Warm: Place cooked waffles on a baking sheet in a single layer and keep them warm in a 300°F oven until all waffles are made. Enjoy them as they come off the waffle maker if you can’t wait!
